Contrary, Controversial, Conundrums for Casual Consideration
Or... I Just Launched My New Website!

Oh Man... what a long haul... Someone teach me to NOT be such a perfectionist - PLEASE!!!!!!! I can hardly believe how bloody long it took me to get that website "just right"... but in the end I guess it was worth it... Just finished submitting to Yahoo and Google and thier criteria for submissions, while extensive, is not unreasonable. Lucky for me, I did my site the right way and had to only make a few minor tweeks to make it Search Engine friendly (as in the world according to Google and Yahoo)...

NOW... let me just swing this little crystal back in forth in front of your eyes...you are getting relaxed... very, very, relaxed.... you are feeling at peace with the world... very, very peaceful.... you feel very happy and eager to spend money... very, very eager.... now click on my website link... very, very nice website link... you will find yourself enjoying reading about pretty flowers.... pretty, pretty flowers.... now click on some of the wonderful merchant links to look for Christmas presents for the people you love.... lovely, lovely people.... you will feel very happy about buying many gifts from my website.... many, many gifts.... Now when I snap my fingers, you will awake from your trance feeling refreshed, happy and excited that you purchased so many wonderful Christmas presents from my new website... on the count of 3.... ready... 1......

So have I updated you on the fascinating Political scene going on in in Canuk Land? Well, FINALLY all the opposition parties have gotten together to defeat the government - which was a minority govn't - but defeat them they did. WONDERFUL news! You can't believe how arrogant and corrupt this government has been over the last 12 years... it's been sickening really. And Canadians, passive bunch of dummies that they are... have continued to vote them in. I can't figure out why. I think it's because all the Canadians who voted Liberal are gullible dummies who believe everything they're spoon fed by the Liberals - OR - they're at the feeding trough and don't want to lose their place. The main opposition leader (Stephen Harper) has been painted as this really "Scary" guy who'll turn our country into another U.S (Oooooh - that would be just awful) and that he'll get rid of our health care system. YEAH, RIGHT... That's like saying Donald Trump would get rid of his weeny and his money. Not likely.

It should be a very interesting race... Christmas get togethers will have lively conversations this year - should be FUN!!! I love trashing the Liberals... the last two Prime Ministers will make excellent cartoon characters after all is said and done... they're both such sadsack goombahs.

2.......

Ya know... this blogging thingy is harder than it looks... I love to write, but man, who has the time. I should try to get into the habit of getting up a half hour earlier every day and doing a short blog... I know you'd all be fascinated on the gruellingly slow progress on my next website!! I'm a genius, it's True... but not too fast!! LOL

I'm gonna cut this one a bit short tonight... gotta get back and figure out how to get the Google Adsense program properly coded into my "Includes" page... I want the code in there so that when I'm finally indexed the Adsense will start showing up. What I don't want is the public service ads... they just make my site look tacky. Only thing is, the instructions on the Google Adsense site isn't totally clear about the path you need to specify for their collapsing code. Here's their instructions:

"In the Alternate Ads URL text box, enter the fully defined path to the collapsing ad units HTML file on your domain. For example: http://www.example.com/scripts/google_adsense_script.html"

I think the /scripts/ is the folder they're using for an example... am I right? I don't have a scripts folder, I have an includes folder so I'd replace "scripts" with "includes", the www.example.com with www.1-flower-gardening.com and of course tack on the name of the file. But it didn't work, so I've definately got a bit more tweaking to do. Luckily I don't need this on my site to get indexed, so I can figure this out while waiting to get indexed. Actually, I've gotta figure it out tomorrow so it's done and ready to be uploaded Monday, Cause..... I'm starting another site Monday. I'll let you know what that one is when I've got the bare bones uploaded to the server.

3.... there you are... feeling refreshed and slightly exhilarated by your wonderful shopping experience at my new website! Ahhhh... I thought so! Wasn't that fun... it was fun for me, for sure!!

Well my thousands of bloggy fans... OK... hundreds of bloggy fans... All right, all right... my dozens of... OK... mom....thank you for dropping in to see what meaningless drivel I had to share with you tonight. Glad you could drop in. Check back once in awhile... I'm going to try very hard to be a good little blogger and get at least one bloggy post in once a week. Once I get that habit firmly established, which should take me into 2007... then I'll work on 2 bloggy posts per week. That's all I can promise... I'd be an emotional wreck with any more committment than that!!!!!!!!!

Love ya all... take care ya bunch of raging, Christmas shopping lunatics. See ya on the flip-side!
